More of Grandmother's Garden

I'm so glad you can join my kitty Dusty and I as we view more of my garden. We're standing beside my red Japanese maple. This is the first year it's developed seeds.

Here's a poinsettia that I'm trying to keep alive.

Here's a Japanese iris in full bloom.

And here's a lovely amaryllis that's glorious to behold.

This is a canna that is still unfurling its leaves before it blossoms.

And here's a patch of wisteria that's in full bloom.

We'll end our tour today with this magnolia tree, which is just starting to bloom. Did you know that magnolias are living fossils just like gingkoes? Both species first evolved when dinosaurs still walked the earth.

Thank you for joining me in my garden. I'll have more updates for you soon.

I heard an owl the other night spreading her medicine under Grandmother moon’s beauty. The two behoove their medicine in the night’s glory giving praise to one another. They make a very gracious team when you use them in unison to help counsel people in need!
